Day 1: Marrakech

Kick off your adventure in the vibrant and colorful city of Marrakech. Spend the day exploring the maze-like medina, where you’ll find traditional souks selling everything from spices and textiles to handcrafted ceramics and jewelry. Be sure to visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque and the Bahia Palace, both of which offer stunning examples of Moroccan architecture.

In the evening, head to Djemaa el Fna square to experience the buzz of live performance, food vendors selling exotic food and drink, and all sorts of exciting happenings. It is truly a quintessential Moroccan experience!

Day 2: Atlas Mountains

Leave the hustle and bustle of Marrakech behind and venture into the stunning Atlas Mountains. Here you’ll find gorgeous scenery and authentic Berber villages tucked away in the hills.

Take a guided trek through the Toubkal National Park, Morocco’s highest peak, and soak up the beauty of the natural scenery. Stop by traditional cafes and markets along the way and get an insight into the daily lives of the locals.

Day 3: Ait Ben Haddou

From the Atlas Mountains, you’ll head across the High Atlas in the direction of Ait Ben Haddou. This ancient fortified city, located on the edge of the Sahara desert, has been used as the backdrop in many Hollywood movies.

Take a guided tour around the city, exploring the maze-like alleys and admiring the architecture of the fortified city built in the form of an adobe Kasbah. Spend the night in a traditional guest house before you head to the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Day 4: Erg Chebbi Dunes

On day four, you’ll head out towards the Erg Chebbi dunes – one of the most stunning and remote locations in Morocco. Here you’ll get to experience the epic beauty of the Sahara desert, with towering sand dunes, endless blue skies, and an unforgettable night under the stars.

Take a camel ride to reach your desert campsite and spend the afternoon hiking up to the highest dunes to see the sunset over the vast desert landscape. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner, music around the campfire, and the magical Saharan night sky.

Day 5: Fes

After a memorable night in the desert, pack up and head to Fes. This ancient city is one of Morocco’s four imperial cities and offers a wealth of history and culture. Take a guided tour of the medina, which dates back to the 9th century.

Wander through the narrow streets, alleys, squares, souks, discovering the stunning architecture of the Royal Palaces, mosques, and madrasas. Shop for authentic Moroccan souvenirs, spices, and textiles in the famous souks of Fes.

Day 6: Chefchaouen

On the second to the last day, you’ll take a scenic drive to the picturesque city of Chefchaouen. The city itself, nestled in the Rif Mountains, is known for its iconic blue and white buildings and is often referred to as Morocco’s blue pearl.

Stroll through the charming narrow alleyways of the medina, learn about the Andalusian heritage of the region, soak in the ambiance of the old town’s cafes, and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside from the hilltop fortress.
